Well, it has been a week since I posted last....which is far too long.

I have been busy busy busy with work, christmas, and socializing! I can't even believe December is almost over. Wow! It still doesn't feel like Christmas though...kind of weird.

Anyway, I LOVE having my own car. love it. It is so nice being able to go to the places I need to be without worrying about who needs the car.

This past week has not been super exciting, but full of holiday activities. Monday I went caroling (in a group of course), Tuesday a whole bunch of us went ice skating, Thursday I went to my works Christmas lunch party, and today I just relaxed. This morning I got to sleep in and go to the gym. It was perfect. Then I went out to lunch with my friend Gary, attempted to find the Home Depot by his house so he could buy a hammock, failed, decided I am the worst procrastinator ever, came home, and went Christmas shopping with Lauren. Then Lauren and I came back to my house and took ridiculous photos on photo booth (of course) and laughed our heads off looking at our old photo booth pics.... I seriously love that girl.

I am so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life who have all taught me so much. Everything seems to be falling into place in my life and I couldn't be more grateful.

May we all remember what Christmas is really about and enjoy having our families together this season.

News!

Today has been a GOOD day. Wanna know why?

Well, I bought (with some help from dad) my very first car! It's an '09 Toyota Corolla and it's perfect-o...

And I am in l-o-v-e with it. Seriously, it's really cute. Don't believe me? See for yourself:

So pretty much, I am a big girl now. Pay for my own phone, car, insurance, gas, etc...everything but rent....hahah still working on that one. I love growing up sometimes! It feels good to be (mostly) dependent on myself!

Love you all!
I am a happy happy happy girl.

lately

I haven't been up to much.... I did find a plethora of cars today though!! SO excited about that. Also, once I have a car I have decided what I will do to make some extra cash. I am going to house/pet sit for people! A girl I work with (Tyler) is going out of town for 5 days with her husband so I'm going to be watching their dog/apartment for them and I am so excited! Hopefully I get a car in the next week or two so that I can get the word out that I am available and happy to watch peoples homes/pets/kids while they travel!

Ok, so it's really not that cool...but I am excited. That's all that matters. hahaha

Anyway, as you can tell I haven't been up to much. Still car hunting. Still figuring out school/life. I am loving being home though. I love my ward and job, which make a HUGE difference. Life is just good right now:) This last weekend I babysat for another lady I work with (Patricia) and took her daughters to our stake Christmas program. We went to souplantation before and had a really fun night together. Her girls are the cutest! Her youngest, Sophia, reminds me of myself (or what I imagine myself to be like) when I was her age (she is 5). Absolutely hilarious and crazy. Oh, and FULL of energy. Bella (her older sister) is the sweetest. She keeps Sophia in check (or tries to). It's adorable to see these two together. I loved it so much that I'm going back for more tomorrow night!

and I just have to share this....

I think that is enough evidence to say she and I may be the same person, just 15 years apart.
Love it.

Goodnight all!

Now I know...

I know what I want in life. I know know know. Couldn't know more than I do right now.

Nothing will stop me.

Because I am a girl on a mission. I have made up my mind. Watch out.

Just thought you should know.

Home sweet home

I seriously missed home while I was gone. It was only 3 days. Pathetic.

Anyway, I'm home and it feels so good. I got the storage unit all cleaned out and it feels so good to have that over with. Tonight at the dinner table my dad said to me, "Isn't it nice to have that over with? Now your whole life is here." seriously, that's exactly how I feel. I have been so stressed about getting my stuff, it feels wonderful to be home for good (for now).

Next steps in my life: get a car, apply to esthetician school and work towards moving out :)

I had a lot of fun hanging out with Hayley this weekend though, she always has something fun to do! She was a wonderful host and I'm so grateful she dedicated her weekend to me. Love you Hay:)

Now it's time for bed. It's been a long busy weekend and it's back to work tomorrow. Ah!

xoxo!
